Cuebase vs Peec AI

Both track whether AI assistants mention your brand. They are built for different buyers: Peec for marketing teams and agencies measuring brand visibility, Cuebase for Shopify merchants who also need the catalog fixed.

How we wrote this

Every statement about Peec AI below comes from Peec's own website, checked on 4 August 2026, and we link the source. Where we could not verify something — including their prices — we say so rather than guess. Products change; check peec.ai for current details.

The short answer

Peec AI is AI search analytics for marketing teams. It measures where a brand shows up across AI answers and reports on visibility, position and sentiment. It also offers an AI Shopping analytics product for brands and agencies.

Cuebase is a Shopify app that both measures and fixes. It scores every product against an agent-readiness rubric, generates fixes, and applies the ones you approve directly to your Shopify catalog — then tracks share of voice across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI.

If your problem is "I need to know how my brand is doing across AI search", Peec is built for that. If your problem is "my Shopify product data is not good enough to get picked, and I need to actually change it", that is what Cuebase does.

Measuring is half the job

Most AI visibility tools stop at the dashboard. You learn you are not being mentioned for the prompts you care about, and then the work starts: figure out which products are weak, write better titles and descriptions, set categories, fill in barcodes and attributes, and push it all back into Shopify.

Cuebase closes that loop inside the same app. The readiness scan tells you exactly which fields are missing on which products, generates suggested values, and writes the approved ones to Shopify. Nothing is applied without your review — the app never silently rewrites your catalog.

When Peec AI is the better choice

There are real cases where Cuebase is the wrong tool and Peec is the right one:

  • You are an agency tracking AI visibility for many clients across many websites, not one Shopify catalog.
  • Your business is not on Shopify, so a Shopify app is useless to you.
  • You need brand-level analytics — visibility, position and sentiment across AI answers — more than you need product data fixed.
  • Your product data is already in good shape and measurement is genuinely the gap.

These are not competing worldviews. A brand team can run broad AI search analytics while the ecommerce team fixes the catalog those answers are drawn from.

What we will not claim

Peec does not display plan prices in plain text on their pricing page, so we do not quote figures. Third-party sites list amounts, but we could not confirm them at the source and will not repeat numbers we cannot verify.

We also will not claim Peec is unable to write data back to a store. We found no such feature advertised, which is not the same as proving it does not exist. And no tool, Cuebase included, can guarantee an AI assistant will recommend you — answers vary between runs, which is why share of voice should be read as a trend rather than a promise.

Common questions

Does Peec AI have a Shopify app?

Not on the Shopify App Store, as of 4 August 2026. Peec's AI Shopping product describes connecting a store through an MCP connection rather than an installed Shopify app. Note that a listing at apps.shopify.com/peec-ai belongs to a different, unrelated company and is not Peec AI.

How much does Peec AI cost?

Peec publishes plan names — Starter, Pro, Advanced and Enterprise, with Enterprise priced through Talk to Sales — but the amounts are not rendered in plain text on their pricing page, so we will not quote figures here. Check peec.ai/pricing for current pricing.

Can Peec AI fix my product data?

Peec is positioned as analytics and reporting, and surfaces prioritised actions and recommendations. It does not advertise writing changes back to your store. Cuebase applies approved fixes to Shopify directly, after you review each suggestion.

When is Peec AI the better choice?

If you are a marketing team or agency tracking brand visibility across many clients or channels rather than optimizing one Shopify catalog, Peec is built for that audience and Cuebase is not.

Can I use both?

Yes. They solve adjacent problems. A brand team can run broad AI search analytics while the ecommerce team uses Cuebase to fix the Shopify catalog those answers draw on.
